Initial 80 minute consultation: $320
Subsequent 50 minute consultation: $260
This is not a bulk billing practice, so there will be an out of pocket cost for all appointments.
John is registered with Medicare. Rebates of $141.85 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year are available to clients with a valid referral from a GP. In order to claim a rebate you will be asked to email a copy of your referral letter and a copy of your "Mental Health Treatment Plan" from your doctor. Alternatively, a portion of your fees may be redeemable from your private health fund, however rebate entitlements vary according to specific policies and can be clarified directly with your fund.
As appointments are limited, at least 48 hours notice is required to change or cancel appointments, or a cancellation fee will be charged. The cancellation fee is 100% of the full appointment fee for less than 24 hours notice, or 50% of the full fee for less than 48 hours notice. Medicare does not cover cancelled appointments.
